Summary: The official Gyakuten Saiban 4 (Ace Attorney 4 - Apollo Justice) website started posting “Secret Footage” on March 30, 2007. These videos dated October 2005 were recordings of the very first meetings of the development team. In the first meeting, the team was told they had to have an illustration for the game ready by next week for use during the reveal. In the second part of the series, designer Nuri Kazuya shows off the sketches he worked all night on to the rest of the core members, being Endō Mitsuru (Director), Matsukawa Minae (Producer) Takumi Shū (Supervision) and Yamazaki Takeshi (Planning). Together they have to decide which sketch to use for the public announcement of the game on October 11, 2005.

Endō: If you would call Nuri here?

Yamazaki: Yes, of course.

Matsukawa: I hope he came up with something.

Takumi: I heard he slept at the office last night.

Nuri: I haven’t decided on anything yet, so…

Takumi: I see you got a lot done.

Endō: Hmm.

[Endō’s stomach rumbles]

Takumi: !

Endō: !
 
Nuri: !

Endō: Sorry.

Nuri: I haven’t eaten a thing either.

Designer Nuri Kazuya’s Light Jab

Nuri: Here’s he’s looks more like a show-off, there’s a more hot-blooded design there…

Takumi: You crossed these ones off?

Nuri: Oh, those are scars.
 
Takumi: Huh, scars… SCARS?

Endō: Those are not X’s?

Yamazaki: Oh, so it’s not like you gave up on them?

Matsukawa: Did you reject these?

Nuri: No, I didn’t reject these sketches.

Takumi: Oh, he’s hot-blooded, so he gets in a fight easily?

Nuri: Yes.

Takumi: He wins with his fists.

Nuri: That’s a scar on his forehead.

Takumi: Why?

Nuri: He had a traumatic experience when he was young…

Takumi: How do you get a scar in the shape of a cross?

Yamazaki: Perhaps he was cut once on his forehead and later again by another person.

Nuri: He didn’t quite manage to avoid those attacks.

Yamazaki: Hahaha. He’s super weak at fights!

Nuri: Hence the trauma.

The Peaceful, Traumatic Meeting Becomes Lively

Matsukawa: It’s the first official announcement, so… so I want something that’ll catch everyone’s interest.

Takumi: How about coloring the sketch?

Matsukawa: Oh! Yes! Color it!

Nuri: Which one?

All: Hahaha.

Nuri: All of them?

Takumi: Let’s think about this after you’ve colored all of them.

All: Hahaha.

The New Protagonist Odoroki Hōsuke Was Born Some Time Later.
